Leeds United’s start to the season has been an excellent one, with the Whites sitting pretty at the top of the Championship table.
This weekend though saw the club lose their unbeaten record, as former manager Garry Monk ruined the party along with his Birmingham City side at Elland Road.
However, things are still looking well for the Yorkshire outfit, and after a summer which saw various new signings join new manager Marcelo Bielsa at the club, it’s certainly an exciting time to be a Leeds fan at the moment.
The winter window and busy fixture period will soon be upon us though, and with that will come plenty of movement in and out of the club once more no doubt.
With that in mind, we at the Transfer Tavern decided to take a look at the Leeds squad and see who could be under threat in terms of being moved on from the squad to pastures new.
Here’s TWO players who could well be playing for their futures between now and January…
Stuart Dallas
The Northern Ireland winger has found himself surplus to first team requirements in the main this campain, and he is definitely someone who could well see his future lying away from Elland Road.
There will no doubt be a host of Championship clubs looking to sign someone like Dallas, but he will no doubt be keen to stay at Elland Road and win his place back.
It’s a tough ask though, and barring a miracle really in terms of his place in the XI, it could well prove to be a difficult few months for Dallas.
Lewis Baker
While not a full time Leeds player as yet, Baker has thus far failed to make much of an impact at Elland Road.
This could well see his time with the club cut short, with Bielsa unlikely to be willing to keep loanees who are simply not contributing.
It’s a big season for Baker and one he needs to impress in, and the next few months could prove massive for the 23-year-old.
