Having arrived from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2014, Emre Can went on to enjoy a steady, if unspectacular career, at Liverpool.
The Germany international racked up 167 appearances across all competitions for the Reds, scoring 14 times and providing a further twelve assists.
However, it was confirmed back in 2018 that he would be leaving the club at the end of his contract, with the midfielder joining Serie A giants Juventus on a free transfer.

But his joy there has been short-lived, with the German signing for Borussia Dortmund on an initial loan deal on deadline day.
Naturally, Liverpool fans took to Twitter to voice their thoughts on their former ace’s latest move, with a few suggesting how the grass isn’t always greener on the other side.
Some fans however struck a far more cordial tone, wishing him well on his new chapter at Dortmund.
One fan in particular meanwhile raised the interesting point of how Can’s career post-Liverpool could well be a lesson to others.
It’s fair to say that since Can’s departure, Liverpool have certainly enjoyed the happier of times. Jurgen Klopp’s side have won the Champions League, and are edging ever close to getting their hands on the Premier League title this season.
Who on earth is that?!?! Can you name all of these obscure January signings?
It is difficult to say how important Can could have been for the Reds had he stayed, but it’s certainly a reminder to the current Liverpool squad about just how good they have got it at Anfield.
Meanwhile, Liverpool are happy to listen to offers to this ace in the summer.
