Alberto Moreno could agree to leave Liverpool in the January transfer window despite the club’s current defensive injury crisis, per Estadio Deportivo.
The Spaniard would like to return to Spain to join up with Sevilla, but he also has several offers from England, Italy and Russia.
What’s the word?
The Reds left-back has struggled for game time this season, making just two appearances in the Premier League.
He played 90 minutes in a 4-1 thumping of Cardiff City, as well as 66 minutes in a 3-1 win over Burnley.
Andy Robertson has made the left-back spot his own under Jurgen Klopp, however, and he appears unlikely to be dislodged from his position any time soon, barring injury.

As such, there is interest in Moreno, with the Spaniard telling his current employers that he does not intend to renew his contract at Anfield, which expires at the end of the season.
Sevilla is reportedly Moreno’s top choice, having spent a decade with the club before his move to Liverpool.
However, English, Italian, Russian and Turkish clubs are also said to hold an interest, as Moreno weighs up his next move.
Of course, a number of defenders are currently on the sidelines, with Virgil van Dijk currently the Reds’ only fit centre-back – it remains to be seen if Moreno could be shifted inside to cover for the absent Dutchman.
A faithful servant
Moreno has made nearly 150 appearances for Liverpool since his transfer in 2014, and has served the club well, even though his performances have often come under criticism. It is unfortunate, from Moreno’s perspective, that Robertson has emerged as such a force down the left flank, then.
The Scotland international is perhaps the best left-back in the Premier League, and is borderline undroppable under Klopp.
With his contract up in the summer, few would blame Moreno for seeking a move this month; his asking price will never be lower, and he does not seem to be in line for any kind of contract extension.
However, his history at Liverpool suggests that is unlikely. It would be more in keeping with his career to date that he waits in the background, always ready to step into the breach when called on by his manager.
The Spaniard will just have to hope he is given enough game time to qualify for a potential Premier League winners’ medal.
