Tottenham Hotspur fans endured a quiet summer during the transfer window, with Mauricio Pochettino’s side failing to land a single signing.
All the excitement orientated around Spurs’ reported pursuit of Aston Villa star Jack Grealish, with Villa boss Steve Bruce even admitting to TalkSport a transfer would have probably gone ahead if Pochettino had moved early.
In the end, Grealish remained at Villa Park and Spurs were left empty-handed but it appears not everybody was disappointed by the collapse of a deal as some fans criticised the English talent following his most recent performance.
