Brentford are set to lose two attackers in January to the Africa Cup of Nations in Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa, and as a result, plan on bolstering their attack. The report adds that multiple Bundesliga sides are chasing the USMNT star, while La Liga's Real Betis are also monitoring the forward. Vazquez has scored four goals in eight appearances for the USMNT, while adding 21 in all competitions for club and country in 2023.

Vazquez was lined up for a $10M move to Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach in the summer, but the transfer never came to fruition.

The January transfer window opens on the first day of the new year, so hypothetically, a move could come about in as soon as 20 days. However, the USMNT star will have to cross the Atlantic and the two teams will have to come to a financial agreement that makes sense for all parties if the move is to become concrete.
