West Ham United moved into the top half of the English Premier League table on Tuesday night after coming from behind to salvage a point against Crystal Palace at the London Stadium.
The Eagles went ahead in the 24th minute thanks to Christian Benteke before Mark Noble converted a penalty just before half time to restore parity by the break.
Chances were few and far between from that point on but Hammers know David Moyes’ outfit are a work in progress and can be content with moving a point closer to top-flight safety.
Supporters were also happy with new signing Joao Mario’s first start for the club after joining on loan from Inter Milan last week. The attacking midfielder was lively throughout, also involved in the build-up to winning the equalising penalty.
Will he be the creative force that the Irons are craving in the second half of the season?
